TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held separate meetings with the new ambassador of Italy to Tehran, the deputy foreign ministers of Slovakia and Iraq as well as the United Nations Development Program's president representative in Iran, Claudio Providas.

In the meeting with Providas on Tuesday, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the region and the world.
Zarif also received a copy of the UN diplomat's letter of credentials.
The new ambassador of Italy to Iran, Giuseppe Perrone, also met with Zarif and submitted a copy of his credentials to the Iranian top diplomat.
The deputy foreign ministers of Slovakia and Iraq attended separate meetings with Zarif on the same day, exchanging views about bilateral ties between the Islamic Republic and their respective countries.
