Chinese company presses ahead with dredging project at major Iraqi port

At the southernmost tip of Iraq, a Chinese company is undertaking dredging of the quay wall, port basin, and navigation channel at Al-Faw Grand Port. The port is the starting point of Iraq's "Development Road," a 17-bln-USD rail-and-road project.
