JERUSALEM, March 25 (Xinhua) -- A missile fired from Iran struck Tel Aviv on Tuesday, injuring several people and damaging buildings and vehicles.
Loud explosions were heard across the city, with eyewitnesses reporting large plumes of smoke rising from both northern and southern parts of the country's commercial hub.
Iran also acknowledged launching a wave of missiles towards Israel early Tuesday, saying the missiles passed through several Israeli missile defenses.
The strikes came amid the nearly month-long conflict among the United States, Israel and Iran, with tensions remaining high despite U.S. President Donald Trump's claim of ongoing negotiations, which Iran dismissed as "fake news."
