Urgent: Iraq's largest parliamentary bloc nominates Ali al-Zaidi as PM-designate

BAGHDAD, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Iraq's Coordination Framework, an umbrella alliance of Shiite parties and the largest parliamentary bloc, on Monday nominated Ali al-Zaidi as prime minister-designate, aimed at forming a new government and ending months of political deadlock, according to the official Iraqi News Agency.
